Exploring the healing power of sound and Kundalini Yoga through rhythm and vibration.

I recently created a new track called RA MA DA SA, centered around the Kundalini Yoga mantra Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Se So Hung. This mantra is a timeless tool for healing and transformation, used in Kundalini Yoga to support the rise of inner energy and align body, mind, and spirit.

Each syllable carries its own essence:

  • Ra – the Sun, bringing energy and vitality

  • Ma – the Moon, supporting emotional balance and calm

  • Da – the Earth, grounding and stabilizing the body

  • Sa – Infinity, connecting us to universal consciousness

  • Sa Se So Hung – amplifying the healing power, aiding the flow of Kundalini energy

Experiencing RA MA DA SA Through Sound

Listening to or chanting the RA MA DA SA mantra can bring deep inner peace, emotional healing, and a heightened sense of presence.

In my track, I blend these ancient vibrations with modern soundscapes that are minimalistic and rhythmically structured—a subtle sonic metaphor for the breath in Kundalini Yoga and the gentle, ascending movement of the Kundalini snake. This rhythmic simplicity mirrors the rise of energy through the chakras, creating a meditative space for reflection and balance.

How to Use RA MA DA SA in Daily Practice

You can experience the RA MA DA SA mantra in multiple ways: chant it aloud, repeat it silently during meditation, or listen to it through the track. Each approach helps cultivate awareness, deepen the connection to your inner energy, and encourage a sense of harmony and grounding.

For me, RA MA DA SA is a journey—a sonic meditation that invites you to slow down, connect with your inner energy, and experience the subtle power of sound as a path to balance and transformation.
